Toyota (South Africa) saves US$360k with ISO 50001

The implementation of an Energy Management System (EnMS) at Toyota SA resulted in a reduction in electricity usage which has translated into cost-savings of more than R4.8 million over a two-year period.

The company also generated energy savings of GWh 8.15 across its 14 plants, and reduced its GHG emissions by 7,804 tons.
