Danper is a large agro-exporter company in Peru, with total revenues of USD 88 million in 2010, derived almost entirely from exports to the USA, Europe and other markets. Asparagus and artichokes are by far the most important produce, and its business comprises of three major lines; preserved good, (77% of sales), fresh produce (21%) and frozen (2%).

Standards contributed 30% (USD 648,000) of annual gross profits from the asparagus exporting business.
