ISO 9001 improves Greek service companies’ performance during economic downturn

An empirical study of 100 Greek service sector companies (Psomas, 2013) found statistically significant evidence that under a context of financial crisis and economic downturn, ISO 9001 certification contributes to increased customer satisfaction, prevention of non-conformities, and continuous improvement.
