Harbec is a precision manufacturer specialising in custom injection moulding, CNC machining, complex prototypes, and additive manufacturing. It uses significant energy resources to operate three shifts within its 50,000 sq. ft. facility in New York, USA.

As a result, the company worked with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Advanced Manufacturing Office to successfully implement an energy management system (EnMS).

The implementation of an EnMS led to a 16.5% improvement in energy performance, lowering energy costs by (US) $52,000.
